The 2024 presidential election is coming up in just a few short weeks. Today’s paid post and November’s free post will cover various election resources.

The Civic Librarian is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

Let’s get started!

Vote.gov

https://vote.gov. Accessed 10/20/24.

If there is one resource to take away from today’s post, this is the one! It provides vital information on how to vote in the election. I published a newsletter in August about vote.gov - now is a great time to revisit it and consider sharing it with people you know, especially those who still need to register to vote or need additional voting support.

USA.gov’s “Voting and Elections” Page

Access clear, yet detailed information on U.S. elections on the “Voting and elections” page on usa.gov, the go-to government website about government websites. This includes instructions on how to vote as well as background information on election laws, procedures, and past results.
