Hi everyone,
I’ve been taking a mini summer vacation from posting my newsletters, but I want to jump on this week to quickly share some information about the January 6th hearings. Earlier this week, the January 6th select committee began public hearings. Today, I’m going to show you a quick way to access these hearings and related information about the committee’s activities.
The quickest way to access public government information about the January 6th select committee is to visit the website dedicated to documenting their activities. I’ve mentioned this website before in previous newsletters, but now we are starting to see much more activity than in previous months.
Clicking on “media center” will take you to the latest press releases, while selecting “committee activity” current links to hearing recordings. While hearings on ongoing, they are often live-streamed on the “watch live” section. If you’re like me and prefer to watch proceedings without the commentary of a TV station interrupting your viewing, I recommend tuning in here!
We’ll see what these hearings bring in the coming weeks. For now, enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Thanks for this info, Audrey. I believe that I glanced at the Committee's website, but I will now give it a closer look. I'm TV-centric when it comes to these events, but it is always better to go to the original (primary) source.
